Homecoming Activites Underway

Homecoming festivities were in full effect tonight with the annual parade followed by the Powder Puff football game. The parade was a little subdued again as a result of more stringent rules put into place last year. All in all everyone had a good time on a beautiful night in Independence. It is neat to see the Powder Puff game again after a 25+ year absence.

The Homecoming Game will be tomorrow night at 7:30. If last week is any indication, you will want to get there early in order to grab a parking spot.
