U-G-L-Y at the Joe

The SK boys team hosted the Raiders from Ryle tonight at the Joe. Only one word to describe the game. Ugly. I got to the game with 6 minutes to go in the second quarter with the Pioneers only logging two points on the board at the time. They would get 8 more before half-time but would trail by a score of 25-10.

The Pioneers would get within 8 points in the beginning of the 4th quarter at a score of 36-28 but would end up sliding back again to the 15 point margin and the final score of 48-33. SK was led in scoring by Casey Sorrell with 11 and Nick Gray with 9.

The Lady Pioneers will meet New Cath tomorrow night at the Joe. SK enters the game ranked 11th in the Herald Leader state poll.
