I wanted to take a moment to thank the Independence and Kenton County Community for the overwhelming support they showed our family and the soldiers during the President's Cup on Saturday. There were over three large boxes of donations collected not to mention the generousity of Allproimages donating back 10% of the profits made from portrait sales so that we will be able to send over another couple of boxes during the holidays.
When people were asking why we wanted to come back to Independence when Scott got deployed, my boys kept saying because of the people and it is our home and now everyone can understand why we wanted to be here - it is because of the people.
We will never be able to express to you completely our appreciate for the support to the soldiers during this time.
