The Lady Pioneers showed some grit down the stretch of the 4th quarter to tie the game and send it to overtime but fell short by 4 at Conner tonight. SK trailed by as many as 9 in the fourth and it wasn't looking good for SK. Jessica Farris caught fire and got the Pioneers within striking distance on the strength of a couple of treys and some moves to the basket. However, the most exciting play of the night came at the buzzer when Kayla Smith drilled a 3 from the corner to send the game to the extra frame. SK grabbed the first lead of the OT but was unable to pull out the win.
Great effort coming back ladies! Build on the momentum that you had down the stretch of tonight's game.
