The Scott High School parents, coaches and supporters have been putting together some neat things for this year’s President’s Cup. Here is a list of some things you might want to know.
1) The schedule is 3:00 JV Girls, 4:30 JV Boys, 6:00 Varsity Girls and 8:00 Varsity Boys. There are no Freshman games scheduled for President’s Cup this year.
2) Extra Concessions - SHS will be serving chicken wraps, grilled corn on the cob, and sweet iced tea.
2) President’s Cup T shirt's and Noise Makers- President’s Cup shirts will be $8 or $6 with a canned good ticket. They will also have some noisemakers for both SK and SHS for purchase.
3) Community Service Project – Scott’s organizers are asking all fans and players to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to BeConcerned in Covington. Their mission is to assist low-income people of Northern Kentucky in obtaining basic necessities for life. Anyone donating a can will be given a ticket to get $2 off a President’s Cup shirt that afternoon.
4) Team Photos - This is something new for President’s Cup. Ramage Photography will be there to take team photos of each team and a combined SK-SHS photo for each game. These photos will be taken before the game and players and parents can place an order for them. (SIDE NOTE: FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING PHOTOS FROM ANY OF THE BLOG PHOTOS OR THE LINKED SITE, I WILL BE PUTTING AN ORDER FORM TOGETHER AND DISTRIBUTING SOON.)
5) Bake Sale items and Shaved Ice will be available.
6) Silent Auction - There will be clipboards there with a bidding sheet. The auction will be closed at the start of the 2nd half of the Boys Varsity game and winners announced throughout the game. Bidders do not need to be present to win and we'll deliver to the highest bidders. There are some great baskets for all soccer fans, not just Eagle fans, so come ready to shop.
All proceeds benefit the Scott soccer program.
