Despite the 25 point win, it certainly was not the Pioneers best effort of the year and probably a game the team would like to put behind them. Several unforced turnovers and a lack of the normal defensive intensity was a consistent theme tonight. Chelsea Tolliver led all scorers with 26 points followed by Jessica Farris with 12. Sam Wormald delivered a strong game with 7 points.
In JV action, the Bumble Bee defense of the Blur, Oliva Bach and Sydni Wainscott overcame a 13 point deficit. SK held Walton to 4 points in the second half.
The Lady Pioneers next take on Highlands on Tuesday night at Ft. Thomas.
