SK Boys Bounce Back and Beat Louisville Central

The Pioneers bounced back today to the winning side as they won their early morning match against Louisville Central in the 5/3rd Classic at Lexington Catholic. Final score was SK-56 and Louisville Central 49. SK will play Thursday at 10:30 versus the winner of today's 10:30 game between Bourbon County and St. Mary's from the Western Kentucky area.

Today's game was played without Mike Hester (Foot injury) and Brandon Maegley (extended knee). Ricky Parrott came out of today's game with a sprained ankle. Parrott is expected to play tomorrow, Maegley is questionable, Hester will see a doctor later this week.

In today's game, Josh Elbert led the Pioneers with 18 points, followed by Josh Hurd with 15. SK shot 25/53 from the field including 4/9 from 3 point land. The Pioneers never trailed in the game, leading by as much as 12 points, but Louisville Central was able to cut the lead to 4 points late in the game. SK actually missed several easy lay-ups throughout the game.
