Pioneers Get Roughed Up by NDA

The Lady Pioneers soccer team was defeated by the Notre Dame Pandas on Saturday afternoon. While the Pioneers lost the game in the scoring column, they also came out of the game with some injuries to some key players. Sophomore multi-purpose player Marie Cooper sufferred a significant break to her left arm. Marie is a hardnosed player and will bounce back. Junior midfielder Liz Reilly injured her knee in the first half and never returned to action.
The Pioneers host the Holy Cross Indians in the home opener on Monday.
Junior Stephanie Cagle scored the lone Pioneer goal on Saturday.
Junior Kelsie Rust played a very tough game on the defensive side of the field.
