The Holy Cross varsity squad "expressed" out to a 3 goal lead in the first half and went on cruise control for the victory. SK had several second half opportunities to score but sent several shots over the top of the crossbar. While Holy Cross did net four goals on the night, the score was not indicative of the effort put forth by the defense.
The Lady Pioneers travel to Pendrey Park on Wednesday to take on New Cath.
7th Grader Tiffany Landrum ran wild but couldn't find the net for SK in JV action.

Who is faster, A or N? #4 showed some serious wheels in the game against HC.
Have to agree with you about those three skhs. They have played very hard in these last few losses. 19 was tough as nails against NDA on Saturday. Last night, I may be mistaken but I don't think 2 or 4 came out of the game. #4 opened some eyes as to how fast she can be on one play in particular. I really believe this team will be right there soon and should be competitive for a district title.
