Lady Pioneers fall to NCC

The Lady Pioneers took on the girls from NCC on Wednesday night at Pendry Park. After suffering 3 straight losses, the Pioneers came into the game determined to end the streak. After a quick first goal from NCC, the Pioneers settled in and started going on the attack. The Pioneers answered when junior Shannon Nienaber fining the back of the net on a cross shortly after NCC's goal. The Pioneers battled hard in the flow of the game going back and forth. Unfortunately, NCC scored another first half goal making the score 2-1. With opportunity after opportunity thwarted by NCC's amazing keeper, the Lady Pioneers suffered another loss. Confident that the season will turn around for them, the Lady Pioneers look ahead to playing state champs Highlands on Monday at Tower Park.
