Lady Neer V-ball Keeps Rolling

It is still early,but the Pioneer volleyball teams continued their winning ways putting the sweep on the Conner Cougars tonight. 

The freshman team gave the fans their money worth with a thrilling three set match.  The volleys at the end showed that neither team wanted to lose tonight but the Youngest Neers came out on top.  The frosh were led by Mackenzie Bard's 6 assists and 5 aces. 

The JV team had another short match with their opponent, blasting the Cougars in two games, 21-10 and 21-13.  The JV team has yet to lose  a set in their first three matches.

The varsity team took the floor looking confident.  They once again jumped out to a nice lead.  I’m not sure what got into a couple of the Lady Neers; in particular Sam Eudy who provided several service aces and Kaitlin Murray who simply pounded the Cougars with kill after kill.  I’m sure it must have been the excitement of being back at school!

Sophia Dunn had 29 assists
Kelsey Henderson had 12 digs

The girls return to the friendly confines of the Joe tomorrow night against the Birds from Ft. Thomas Highlands.
