4th Time Not a Charm for Neers V-ball

There is an old sports cliché that it is hard to beat a good team three times. If that’s true, then it is even tougher to beat a team 4 times in a season. This was the Neers/Cooper Jaguars 4th match-up of the year and the third since Saturday. SK is unable to secure that 4th win of the season and goes down by scores of 21-25 and 22-25. The Lady Neers dug themselves in a hole in both sets and actually did a nice job of digging out and making decent games on the night. As with some of the other losses for the year, this one came down to untimely and unforced errors.


Both JV and Freshman teams were able to nail down wins tonight. The JV team looked lights out in the first set as they cruised to a 21-12 win. Cooper got even in the second by a score of 21-14. SK comes back and played a solid third set to take the match by a score of 15-10.

A scary moment in the JV match when Chloe Turner went down with an unknown neck injury. She left the gym on an Indy Life Squad Stretcher as a precaution. Please pray that everything is OK with Chloe and that she recovers from her injury.
