Girls Soccer Action Gearing Up

The girls soccer team takes to the field in the annual Soccerama outing at Eva G Farris Sports Complex at 2:40 against former Regional Champion St. Henry. Where is that field you ask? It is basically where the Rosedale Pool once was located in Latonia/Covington. I understand that shuttles will run from the old Franks behind Long John Silvers in Latonia.

The Lady Pioneers are coming off of back to back regional championship apperances. There are several holes to fill in the Pioneer line-up but Coach Dusty Jones returns several key players who have a lot of varsity experience including the Russell/Cooper cousins and Ali Ponzer. The Lady Eers should once again be the favorite to win the district.

The regular season gets started on Monday at home as SK entertains the paNDAs from Park Hills in a triple header.
