Simpson gets first offer
Miles Simpson, the junior running back who led Simon Kenton to the Class 6-A state title game, has landed his first college scholarship offer.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Simpson was offered last week by the University of Louisville, according to his coach Jeff Marksberry.
Simpson ran for 2,310 yards and 37 touchdowns on the season, including 16 carries for 72 yards in the title game loss to Trinity last weekend.
