SK PIONEER SPORTS: Lady Pioneers go to 3-0 in District Play

The Lady Pioneers completed their first rotation of district play tonight by beating the Lady Demons from Williamstown by a final score of 71-39. SK scored early and often as they jumped out by a double digit lead right out of the gate. Chelsea Tolliver led all SK scorers with 21 points which were all chipped in during the first half. Ali Ponzer had 13, Lyndsay Figgins had 11 and Caitlyn Figgins had 10.

This was the girl’s only game of the week. They will participate in the Lexington Catholic Holiday Tournament starting Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. (KHSAA website says 8:30.) Other game times will depend on how they fare in the first game.
The SK boys team also will host Williamstown tomorrow night at the Joe. The boys team is looking for their first win of the year.
