Lady Pioneers Suffer First Loss of Season

The Lady Pioneers fell to the defending state champion Butler Bearettes by a final of 46-42 in the Lexington Catholic Tourney. SK led for most of the game but failed to capitalize on foul shots and layups down the stretch. Butler nailed all their foul shots in the closing minutes which ended up being the difference in the contest. SK had to be feeling the woulda, coulda, shoulda as the left the game.

They travel back to Lexington tomorrow night for play in the consolation bracket at 6:15 tomorrow night.

Kayla with a nice rebound yesterday.
