The article that appeared in the Community Press/Enquirer on Miles Simpson was timely. The junior running back blistered the Dixie Heights Colonels in Edgewood for four touchdowns and nearly 350 yards. Three of Simpson's touchdowns were broken for runs of 70 yards plus.
Unofficially, Simpson set a single game rushing record for the Pioneers. The previous record was 303 yards set by Alan Mullins in 1981 against Boone County. More to follow later…
According to Channel 12, Simpson had 24 carries for 346 yards.
