Farewell 2009 Senior Boys Soccer

The SK Boys 2009 seniors were recognized between the JV and Varsity games tonight at Meneffee Stadium. The boys came out fired up and connected for a score against county rival Dixie Heights as Senior Andy Dickerson snuck a ball beyond the charging Dixie keeper. The bench went crazy as the Pioneers took an early lead. Dixie would even the score later in the first half as a ball struck from about 40 yards out found the top of the bus-side net. SK was whistled for an unbelievable number of fouls on the night but they dodged the bullets and held on for a tie. Both teams had numerous chances to score but were unable score late in the second half.
