Tough Night for Lady Pioneers

The Lady Pioneers hosted the Pandas from Notre Dame tonight. Things looked good for the Pioneers early as they led after the first quarter and then extended the lead mid-way through the second by a 24-17 score. The Pandas called time out, got things together and finished the half on a 10-2 run. NDA led by a score of 27-26 at the intermission. The NDA run didn't stop at half-time. The Pandas outscored SK 14-2 in the third quarter. If you are keeping up, that meant that the Pandas went on a 24-4 run between the second and third quarters. SK got things down to single digits in the fourth but the final ended up 64-54. SK has now lost 3 out of their last 4 games.

The SK JV team also came out on the losing end of things tonight as they lost a heartbreaker at the buzzer by a final score of 36-33. The girls mounted a good comeback in order to knot the score.

The Lady Pioneers will play Conner on Friday night.
