SK's #54, Michael Breeden ends up doing a headstand on the tackle.

Tommy Gibson draws a flag against the HC Defensive Back in the first half.

The Pioneers football team jumped out to a 3-0 Record on the season by defeating Holy Cross 42-17 at Tom Ellis Field on the Holmes campus. Holy Cross took their first loss of the season. SK moved the ball easily during the first quarter putting quick scores on the board. Holy Cross put some pressure on the SK defense in the second quarter by using an effective running game with Penny moving the ball. SK used another strong running game by Bishop and Haught which wore down the HC Defense. The game was marred by a couple of significant injuries to a HC and a SK player in separate incidents. The Pioneers have a bye next week and some extra time to prepare for 4A rival Boone County.
