The Lady Pioneers soccer team kicked off the season with a victory over cross county rival Dixie Heights. The Pioneers raced out to a 4-1 half-time lead on the strength of two early goals by Junior Stephanie Cagle. The remainder of the SK goals came from the cousin trio of Senior Shari Cooper, Sophomore Marie Cooper and Sophomore Krista Russell.
The JV squad also started the season successrfully with a 1-0 win.
