Girls Update

The girls JV team played a nice defensive game this morning against Ryle to advance to the semifinals of the JV NKAC tourney.  SK wins by a score of 35-22.  Ryle only had 6 points at the half.  The semifinal game is tentatively scheduled for Monday night.

On Thursday, girls hosted the Cooper Jaguars at the Joe with a fund raiser and recognition game for the Susan Komen Foundation. The team raised nearly $400 through raffles, bake sales and other donations.

The girls beat Cooper 61-40 for their 5th straight win behind a nice offensive game from Paige Bosse.

Nice job by the players and parents raising money for the Susan Komen Foundation.
