The Pioneers hosted the Holmes Bulldogs in a preseason scrimmage tonight. SK came out and scored early and often as they rang up 60+ points for the night. Weaponry was the theme for tonight’s offensive show as the Pioneers showed that they have many ways to score. The defense flew to the ball but did give up a few pretty big plays to Holmes offense. I am sure Coach Marksberry and the coaches have some things to work on but the 2010 looks to have a chance to be another promising season.
Things get started for real next week as SK travels to Nippert Stadium on UC’s campus to take on Middletown at 2:45 on Saturday.
