The Pioneer teams got in make-up games tonight. The girls got their final district game in by besting Walton by a final of 56-34. The JV team lost in a scrappy thriller with 3 seconds to go. SK took a 2 point lead after Brionna Jones scored on a runner. Walton went down and got off a wild shot that was forced up with 3 seconds to go. Unfortunately, the ball went off a SK player. Coach Trame from Walton called a timeout, set-up and inbounds play that worked to perfection. Tough loss for the girls but it was a really exciting game.
The boys beat Cooper at the Joe by a final of 60-44.
Here is some additional make-up information for the girls. The girls will play Ryle next Tuesday with JV at 6:00 and varsity at 7:30. The Boone County game will be played on February 14th at 6:00/7:30. Also, there is a time change for the Scott game on Saturday. It will now be played at 12:00/1:30.
