Finally, after week off school, the boys and girls teams got back into action tonight. The boys travelled to Williamstown and came out with a 80-59 win to run their final district record to 4-2. Things could get interesting for the final district seeding if Walton would happen to beat Grant tomorrow night. This would mean there would be a three way tie between SK, Grant, and Walton would be tied. Not sure what happens in that case.
The girls played a NKAC game against Campbell County at the Joe. SK wins by a final of 64-49. SK led by a score of 32-30 at half-time. The Pioneers trailed for much of the first half but put together a nice run at the end of the first half that continued into the third quarter. Chelsea Tolliver had about 25 and Kayla Smith socred 15.
The girls will travel to Walton tomorrow night for their final district game of the year. They boys will be on the road to the new Cooper High School.
