Things started off a little vicariously for the Lady Eers as they fell behind 8-0. They trailed by a point at the end of the first quarter by 14-13. SK would then go on a 20 to 2 run and would never look back. Walton played with a lot of intensity early but it didn’t hold up as SK got back into defensive form and slammed the door on the Bearcats as the Pioneers roll by a final of 62-35. SK holds Walton to 22 points total in the second through 4th quarters. Ponzer, Wainscott and Tolliver named to the all tourney team. The girls win their 14th straight game. The regional will take place next week at South Oldham. Schedule to follow later this weekend.
