Pioneer Volleyball falls to Scott in District Finale

The Lady Pioneers went up against county rival Scott in the finals of the 34th District Finals at Holmes High School.

SK won the first game by a final of 25-22. The first game was back and forth and tied throughout until SK got some momentum at the end for the win. Scott seemed to get a little frustrated at the end of the game.

This allowed SK to take an early lead in the second game. It wouldn’t last as Scott got some confidence going and went on to win the second game. SK made a little run but it was a little late. Scott wins the second game 25-17.

It appeared that nerves got the best of the Lady Pioneers. The final game started off tied by a 6-6 score but they faded as Scott went on a 19-8 run and won by a 25-14 tally. .

SK still makes the regional tournament that will be held next week at Scott. Things get a little tougher there with several of the state’s powers at the regional level.
