Lady Pioneers Bury Ryle on Senior Night

Seniors Lauren Conley, Sam Wormald, and Jessica Farris played their last game at the Joe tonight as the Pioneers hosted the Ryle Raiders. These three young ladies were recognized in a a very nice pregame ceremony.

Ryle came into the game off their first win ever against Boone County early in the week and was looking to build some momentum. SK was looking for a game to get things back on track after being in somewhat of a slump. SK got on track, never looked back and buried the Raiders by a 65-43 final score. SK led 18-8 after the first, 33-20 at the intermission and 47-29 after three. It was apparent early on that the Lady Pioneers were going to defend their turf on senior night.

The Lady Pioneers will travel to Shelby County on Saturday night to take on the two time defending regional champion. The boys team plays host to Shelby County tomorrow night.
