In varsity action, SK was up 2-0 at the end of the first half. Goals made by Chris Kentrup and Andy Dickerson in the first half. Things were looking up for the Pioneers. However, the second half was not as pretty. The Camels started the second half scoring 2 goals in a 7 minute time frame. Shortly after the Camels netted the score, SK was called for a foul in the penalty area. Campbell County took advantage by placing a perfectly placed PK off the side bar that ricocheted in the net. The Camels picked up another goal later in the half. Kevin Niehaus did score in the last few minutes of regulation bringing the score to 4-3 Camels.
