The SK boys soccer team suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hands of Calvary Christian by a score of 1-0 in 18th District tournament action at Dixie Heights last night. The lone goal of the game came in the 73rd minute of play. It looked like the hard fought battle was going to come down to a shootout. SK had several chances to score but simply could not find the back of the net having several shots deflect off the corner posts. The loss brings the SK season to an end. Seniors Jon Schadler, DJ Sterling, Eric Gardella, Danny Guenther, Justin Wallace and Josh Ellison wrapped up outstanding high school careers for the Pioneers.
