The Lady Neers travelled to Holmes tonight for their first
game of 2013. SK has a grueling schedule
as they play 5 games in the next 7 days.
The girls jumped out to a 20-8 first quarter lead in a game that was
scrappy throughout as many of the team’s points came off fast breaks and put
backs. Holmes would get back to within
12 points early in the second half but a timeout called by Coach Stowers got
things going again as the Neers hit the gas and left Holmes behind.
Coach Stowers was able to clear the bench as the Lady Neers
cruise to a 61-37 final score. The girls
return to the Joe tomorrow night for a primetime game with Louisville Senneca.
