The Lady Pioneer escaped Williamstown with a narrow win by a final of 50-46 after trailing with just under two minutes to go in the game back on December 14. The results were different tonight as SK cruised to a 70-53 win. Coach Stowers didn’t empty his bench until under two minutes in the game but the visiting Demons never really were in this game after the first quarter. The big reason was because they could not stop Sydni Wainscott as she pumped in 27, mostly from her mid-range jumpers. SK moves out to a 12-2 record on the season.
The Kenton County Classic tips off this week. The girls will play at Scott on Wednesday at 6:00 at Scott while the boys will play at SK versus Scott on Wednesday at 6:30.
